A while ago I came to Pete, the gentleman who heads up the Sydney Cigar Club, and had a conversation that went something like this;
Me: all the Sydney Cigar Club meets seem to be in the city, why can’t there be something out west?
Pete: well, do something about it
Me: ok

Introducing the Sydney Cigar Club West Chapter! We plan to follow suit with the existing events in the city, meet once a month for great smokes, fine tipples and good times. But we will meet to celebrate everything that is great and often-forgotten about western Sydney. The people, the culture, the heritage and the land. Our first event is on Sunday the 17th of August. We have booked the top deck of Bennett’s on the River Café, a floating café where you can take in the stunning views of one of the most picturesque rivers in the world. An old scout buddy of mine who was a national rower said it is one of the best rowing courses globally.
David Logozzo from Kemps Creek Liquor Master is coming along to school us through some of his exclusive bourbons. If you have always thought of bourbon as that nasty drink that you mix with cola to forget about your boss, you are in for a treat!
So come along and join me for the first ever cigar meet in western Sydney, not only will you have a great time, but you will go down in history.
